Music at the Symposium

The Symposium offers different cultural and social activities featuring national and international artists. Therefore, artists from Switzerland and neighboring countries are invited like the Jazz Police from Berlin. Saxophonist Peter Lenzin and Saki Hatzigeorgiou take care of the musical entertainment for the Gala Dinner. In particular, some young artists are offered a platform for their performances.

Boat trips on the Lake Zug with the nostalgic ship “MS Schwan”

Boat trips on the Lake Zug with the nostalgic ship “MS Schwan” will be offered exclusively for participants of the Symposium. Moreover, sessions of the program and Aperós will take place in this special atmosphere on the waters of Lake Zug.

Tourist programs

During the Symposium there are various tourist program offerings to choose from, for instance, the Museum of Prehistory and the Zugerland transport services. From the websites of our cooperation partner, Tourism Zug, more information, photos and films about the meeting place Zug and the surroundings are available.

Zug and its Surroundings

Moreover, it is possible to explore the fantastic landscape and various cultural centers in Central Switzerland, for instance a trip up to the top of the mountain Rigi (either by train or hiking) where you will have a great view of the surrounding valleys and alps or to the old town of Luzerne to see the Chapel Bridge etc. From Lucerne it is possible to go on a boat trip on the Lake Lucerne (Vierwaldstättersee) to see the „Rütliwiese“ where Switzerland was founded. A visit to Zurich, the business city with an international atmosphere, is also worthwhile.
