The establishment and implementation of inclusive education represents a challenging, fundamental development task for schools and their stakeholders, but also for education administrators, school supervisory authorities and politicians. With the claim of an \u201cinclusive education system at all levels\u201d (UN, 2006 Art. 24), they have been dealing with the task of initiating and implementing an inclusion-oriented transformation process for almost 20 years.<\/p>

What lines of development are currently evident in schools, regions and countries? Where have resources been built up and expanded, models developed and practices established in order to come closer to the goal of dealing productively with heterogeneity? What conditions need to be in place for this school and system development task to be successfully mastered?<\/p>

The Symposium explored these and other questions at school, regional, national and international level and aims to uncover potential, but also to identify hurdles and stumbling blocks that have so far made participation and recognition difficult for everyone.<\/p>

The around 300 participants from schools, educational science, educational policy, school supervision and educational administration, support systems and other services as well as foundations, companies and associations discussed empirical data, solutions and strategies for implementing inclusion in schools and education.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
